Mountain Snowstorm

I've wanted to paint this scene since I saw it in March, 2023, in Rocky Mountain National Park, where I just did a quick study (from inside my car) because it was so cold and windy. Back in the studio, I worked hard to capture the atmospheric effect of the distant storm contrasted to the sun beginning to come out in the foreground. This scene has all the elements of what I love to paint!

The price includes a beautiful frame, but the painting may be purchased unframed, also.
