I love the contrast created when the aspens have turned and there is an early snow. The blues, blue-violets, yellows and yellow oranges just seem to vibrate together. This awesome scene certainly caught my attention on Bear Lake Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. We usually try to go to Colorado in March so that I can see and paint in the beautiful snow firsthand!
