Morning Breaking

The morning was breaking (or already broken) when I arrived in Ennis, Texas, at an awesome private ranch that a group or artists is invited to paint on every year. I'm so lucky to get to paint there - everywhere you look is a painting! This is a view that looks toward downtown Dallas, although you can't see it. I love the layers of depth in the distance! The bluebonnets were in full bloom and so plentiful. Who said painting bluebonnets was easy???
