Forest Enchantment

The light coming through the trees in this stand of aspens is my subject in "Forest Enchantment." The aspens and little red-violet wildflowers are in one of my favorite places to paint - Endo Valley in Rocky Mountain National Park. I painted this from a small plein air oil study and also photos I took of the scene in different lighting situations.
