Magnolia Encounter

I'm happily encountering magnolias blooming on my back yard tree daily and have gotten to paint some of them on the spot. "Magnolia Encounter" was painted from one of the numerous photos I've been taking at all times of day in all kinds of light and I did it as a demonstration for my last watercolor class until fall. I had to finish it in my studio, because it took too long to finish completely in class. I'm on to the next one! I love elaborating on the many colors I see on the white flower!

The price includes a 16x20 mat and the painting is ready to drop into a standard size 16x20 frame.
