One of my demonstrations for my students in the France workshop was this incredibly blue door that I just had to paint. I should have named it "Trash Day," because no sooner than I got all set up and started to paint, the trash truck came for the big trash bins just down the way from where we were. They were nice and said they'd come back (we'd all have to move if they brought their truck in) and they were also nice to add some deoderizer to the bins. We had started to smell them when the breeze changed directions! What a day - one of life's little bumps in the road.
I painted this on archival, acid-free Arches oil paper for easy travel. I've found it works best for me with two coats of gesso.
The price includes a nice frame, but it may be sold unframed for $335 as a standard 6x8 size.
