Timeless Vision in Arles

This took some real time to paint, mostly because of the amount of tedious detail, which I oddly enough love doing. I tried to keep it loose and painterly and not tighten up on it, however. The shadows of this were the difficult part - I had to go over them several times to get them dark enough to really show off the lights, and each time I feared I was going to muddy them up after working on this for so long! I think luck was with me on that!

The price includes a beautiful frame, but the painting may also be sold matted only.
