Where the Action Is

This was by far one of the most enjoyable watercolors I've painted in years. Eveything seemed to flow (except for a few last minute glitches) and that's the way I was striving for it to look - like it just flowed. I went with my daughter in Raleigh looking at houses and one of them had a backyard with a waterfall and around 15 koi in the pond that were 20 years old! We went back twice, and, although she ended up buying another house, I got plenty of photos of these beautiful fish. So, I'm set for a while!
