The Crags from FIsh Creek

Sometimes, after working on a painting as large as this one, an artist should let it sit and marinate for a while. I did just that with "The Crags from Fish Creek," and went back and discovered that I needed to simplify the sky and redesign the mountain peak a bit. Then I added the distant mountain to the left and softened and lightened the creek - And, voila - I hope you like it! This is one of the mountains in our view from our Estes Park, Colorado, home and I see it every day when we're there!
