Spanning Time

One of my favorite spots in Texas is Palo Duro Canyon, which is the second largest canyon in the U.S. I tried to capture the strong, raking light that happens in the late afternoons there then disappears before you want it to! I love the challenge of painting all the depth and atmosphere in the canyon and also the stories of early Texas history that took place in the canyon.

The price includes a beautiful frame, but the painting can be sold unframed.
