I love all the blue doors and gates in the Taos area, and I found this near Santuario de Chimayo church on the High Road from Taos to Santa Fe on my trip to Taos in May. I pulled out the thalo blue paint and went to work, trying to capture the doors and adobe entrance in shadow with the slivers of light coming through from behind. I did have to spend lots of time on this one and can't wait to do another scene from the area!
