Black-Crested Titmouse

This little titmouse was on the bird feeder outside the breakfast room window at my sister in law's house in San Marcos, Texas. I nearly knocked everything and everyone over trying to get to my camera for a photo before he flew away! I put him in a dogwood setting from Tyler State Park in Tyler, Texas. He was fun to paint and I used a very wet-into-wet method for the background. This started as a demonstration for my watercolor class on Fridays.
