"Yellow Roses in Brass Cup"

Oil on Gessoed Masonite

I set up this still life with some roses my husband gave me. The challenge was to get the delicate color of the pale yellow roses. and, of course, to paint the brass! These roses were from the same bunch that I used in "Still Life with Apricot and Ginger Jar."
