Cecy Turner paints both in oils and watercolors, and her subject matter includes landscapes, florals and architectural. She is a signature Member of the National Watercolor Society, Southwestern Watercolor Society, Women Artists of the West, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, Outdoor Painters Society, Plein Air Artists Colorado, American Plains Artists, Associated Creative Artists and Texas and Neighbors and has been designated as a Fellow in the American Artists Professional League. Articles featuring her work have been published in American Artist Magazine, Southwest Art Magazine, Watercolor Magic and North LIght Magazine, as well as in the book, The Best of Flower Painting. She has been a popular teacher and lecturer since 1976 and currently teaches watercolor classes and oil painting workshops.
