This is a typical scene in Venice, my favorite city, of a gondola meandering along into the afternoon shadows. I tried to capture the subtle shades of the buildings in shadow and their many textures. This painting is also offered as an Iris Giclee Print and as a notecard (see Iris Giclee Prints).
