"Times Past and Present"

I painted this on Arches 300 lb. paper from one of the many photos I took of beautiful churches, doorways and windows on a recent trip to Mexico City. The shadows and many textures on the facade are what attracted me to the scene. I lifted out quite a bit on the stones.
