"Sunflower and Japanese Bowl"

It was so much fun to paint this - I used a Japanese bowl I inherited from "Occupied Japan," and one of the sunflowers I bought at the once-a-week Estes Park Farmer's Market. Also...some aspen leaves from our aspens on our property in Estes Park! I arranged the set-up so that the sunflower was partly in shadow and partly coming out into the light. I tried not to paint every petal!
