This was a simple composition with a borrowed vase that I started in Quang Huang's workshop on the last day, but didn't get any farther than blocking it in because we had an afternoon talk on how to set up a blog (which I haven't done yet). I thought that since he didn't even see the start of painting, it would be okay to include it on my web site as "entirely mine," but I would never enter it in a juried competition, since it was started in a workshop. In the near future, I plan to print a very good article on my web site that explains what is okay and not okay to enter in juried shows, because I get a lot of questions from my students about that!
