I haven't done many paintings of the Grand Canyon (yet), but this one was from a photo I took there on the North Rim around seven years ago. I thought I would try painting the Grand Canyon again after I've painted Palo Duro Canyon so many times for the past five years or so. I think you have to warm up to things, get used to them and practice them many times to get the hang of them!
