I've seen photographs and paintings of scenes similar to this of Portofino, Italy, and I was fortunate enough to travel there so that I could paint it myself!! We walked out on a long dock that provides an excellent "viewing point" and I took lots of wonderful pictures to paint from. This was about 10:00 on a beautiful morning. The print is done from a full sheet watercolor painting (see "Italy.")
