"Opening to the Past - The Rose Window"

This is one of my very favorite subjects - the famous Rose Window at Mission San Jose in San Antonio, TX. I arrived early one morning to paint it and was dismayed to see that it was blocked by tables and trucks, taking down some kind of banquet from the night before. I patiently waited for them to leave, and painted "Doorway to the Past" in the meantime.
