"Morning Veil at Depoe Bay"

Beautiful Depoe Bay, Oregon, is one of my favorite places to paint because of its "atmosphere" and beautiful scenery everywhere you look. This scene is on the walkway along the ocean from the Silver Heron Gallery owner's townhouse that she lets us stay in when I have a show there. The challenge here was to make everything "coming forward" and "going back" in space. It was fun!
