I painted this watercolor from a photo I took in Rocky Mountain National Park and also used the plein air study I did in oil to complete the painting. I painted it on Arches Bright White 140 lb. paper and painted "around" all the whites, using no opaque paint in the painting. It was fun to paint, and I'm happy with the way it turned out.
