"Moonlight Flight"

The inspiration for this painting was a photo I took in Oregon, but I ended up making it night instead of afternoon, eliminating a lot of trees and rocks, and adding the heron. The basic idea, though, was from that photo of backlit trees and rocks. This was a challenge to paint, and really fun.
