"June Thaw from MacGregor Ranch"

One of my favorite views of the mountains is from MacGregor Ranch in Rocky Mountain National Park. There was still a lot of snow in the mountains in June, although it was nice and warm down below! I was working with the different "layers" of greens and grays that give the painting depth, and also trying to get the correct color and value of the mountains.
