"Idle Time"

I ran across this man sitting on the corner, biding his time, in Old Town, Stockholm, Sweden. I grabbed my camera and took a couple of photos of him because he just had to be painted! To me, it was very relaxing to see him just sitting in the sun watching the people walk by, and I wanted to convey this relaxed feeling, that the world is just going by on schedule, in my painting. "Idle Time" was selected as one of the 84 out of 250 paintings submitted to the Richardson Civic Art Society Regional Show, juried by Maggie Price. (See Exhibits).
