"Hallett Peak from Sprague Lake"

Plein Air Oil on Linen on Panel

I painted this early fall in Rocky Mountain National Park. Before I was through with the reflections, the wind came up and obliterated them, so I had to use my memory to finish them. It's amazing how painting outdoors a lot can train your memory, but I still can't remember what I walked into the pantry to get sometimes!
