I painted this from a photo I took in Verona, Italy, Romeo and Juliet's city. In fact, Juliet's balcony is just around the corner. I loved the textures of the buildings and the late afternoon scene of a few people at the outdoor cafe. I painted this on Arches 300 lb. paper and "painted around" all the whites.
