This was the interior of a beautiful old church, one of the few where cameras were allowed. The late afternoon light was streaming through the windows, and I accentuated it by lifting it out mostly with my 1" flat brush and paper towels. This watercolor won a Merit Award in the recent 2006 Associated Creative Artists Annual Awards Exhibit in Dallas, Texas.
