I painted this from a photo I took in Cannon Beach, Oregon, at Ecola State Park. I was looking down at this beautiful scene when I took the photo, and I loved the way the light was hitting the rocks in the middleground, so tried to play them up a lot. The scene just kind of "faded into the mist." I love the Oregon coast!
