"Bird's Eye View"

This bird was perched on a post at a lookout point in Ecola State Park near Cannon Beach, Oregon, and I decided that he was very necessary to my painting! It was a beautiful sunny and cloudy, hazy and atmospheric afternoon. I loved it!
